I had to go to Walmart today, the belt broke on my vacuum. This vacuum is starting to be more trouble then it's worth. Maybe Hal was right, I should have just bought a new one! Anywhooo, I tried to dress in neutral colors, do my hair - and make myself invisible. Nothing was hanging out, spilling over or covered in sequins. I don't want to appear on one of the people of Walmart emails. You know, like this gal.
She must be going to ballet after she's finished shopping.
After failing to find a handicap parking space, and circling the parking lot for too long, I went in to look for the vacuum belts. Guess what? They are out of the one that fits my vacuum. Does this mean that my brand of vacuum is bad for belt breakage or Walmart is low on product? Doesn't really matter because I STILL don't have the belt!
So, I might as well get some groceries while I'm in there. They had these Cutie oranges, and I'm very fond of them. Very fond. I like the way they are a cinch to peel, no seed and are sweet! Yum!
They also had my favorite Lipton's sparkling tea which is as scarce as hens teeth. I bought all they had, three cartons. Hey....it's a tough world out there!
I had to have a stock boy help me with them, I couldn't reach them. He was very nice - and I told him so. So, my Walmart day wasn't a total loss. I still can't use my vacuum, but I can sit around eating Cuties and drinking sparkling tea. Not a bad option.
I'm sending Hal out to find a vacuum belt tomorrow.

*laughing* ... you are a funny girl! ... i needed to chuckle ...
(hugs) and blessings on ya!
You have to believe that woman wanted someone to take her picture at Walmart. ha ha
All I did today was go back to the doctor for a do-over of the tests that didn't go right last week... Ugh!
You got a great people of Walmart shot!
I love cuties too and bought a bag the other day. I'll have to try that sparkling tea.
You have a good excuse to skip vacuuming!
Well, now you make me feel like visiting WalMart...not dressed the woman in the first photo, of course, but just to see what they have. It's been over year since my son and I step foot in there for a school project.
Those oranges are not only cute, they look yummy! I love when they're sweet and easy to peel.
OMG, I need to check grammar more before hitting "Publish Comment!"
Good for that woman is what I say! You've got have guts to do that! I bet she made a few people smile too.
I love Wal-Mart, and next time I'm in the States I'll have to check out the Lipton's Sparking tea, if there's any left!
You crack me up! Thanks. Were you a stand up comic in your pre-blogging days?
xo
I'd rather eat Cuties and drink Tea than vacumn any day. lol
LOL what a hoot! I haven't been to walmart in ages.
I 'love/hate' sprawlmart .. it is fun for people watching :) Glad you are stocked up with sparkly tea.
Man I love them little cuties they are a cinch to peel. I was laughing my butt off at the wal mart. At first I thought it was you in the outfit just being a little silly but it was'nt. that is so true the circus is in town daily. It's called Wally-World
"free parking" free features" and unlimited laughs" and thats just the parking lot. Once you go in the whole arena is free game. Mad shoppers, angry cashiers backstabbing each others work ethics. Crying children, Oh my Goodness, lets not forget Black Friday! Fights long lines. They should charge admission for the events I run into a Wally-World.
