I am so unhappy with the tone of yesterdays post. It was bad enough that I was so out of sorts, but to publish such negativity in light of all my blessings is not acceptable.
I was going to delete it today, but I choose not to because it reminds me to check myself and my attitude before I speak or write.
I promise not to spit on my neighbors dog! LOL! Although, I may have a friendly word with their owner about how long she lets her dogs bark. The problem is not the dogs, but rather owners who are not courteous of others. I've never understood how continuous barking doesn't bother the owners.
I hope I didn't offend any one by yesterday's writing. If so, I do apologize.
When I saw the last line of yesterdays post, followed by "It is well with my soul"....my spirit was checked and corrected. Thank God for His gentle correcting and for the heart and ears to hear it.
~It is well with my soul
Hebrews 12:12-13
Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and week knees.
Make level paths for your feet, so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.

Ha, ha, well everyone has off days you know, and noisy neighbours drive everyone insane. Don't be so hard on yourself! Remember Jesus got cross at times too! Mind you I don't think he spat on any dogs. :D
Don't worry about it... We're just human ... and your last line is still true...
Now, spitting on your neighbor I understand. LOL I'm giving you a hard time aren't I? :) You are fine. You just had a rough day.
Don't spit on your neighbor, it's against the law.
you're allowed to have a rough day, you've had a weeks + of yuckiness. But we are blessed.
Have a cookie. Cookies make everything better.
We all have our days, and actually I took note of that last line yesterday and thought it was perfect. It reminded me that we can have bad days and even be crabby, but with God in our lives it's still well with our souls!
We all have those days so don't be so hard on yourself...After all blogging among friends is suppose to be a place where we can be real and safe.....
I am glad today was better....
Everyone is entitled to have a 'crabby' day once in a while .. especially when pain is central. Hugs ..
Yep...some days are just like that! and as Margie..have a cookie that makes everything better...lol
WHAT? We can't be crabby anymore?
Okay. I'll try. But you see, I have this cold, and a new granddaughter whom I must remain at a distance from...
Yeah, because your "carpe crabby" post was so horrible that I've stayed away now for over a week!! (you KNOW I'm kidding!) I love ya...everyone deserves the right to be a little crabby now and then...especially when there's yippy dogs and painful knees!
:)
